One Response to 2012 Year List (415 sp.)

  1. Suan Yong says:

    Hi Alex,

I’m curious about your Dickcissel sighting at Seneca Meadows on July 20 which I found on eBird. Was the bird singing or silent, and was it easy to find?

I ask because up through the morning of July 14 it had been singing prominently on the oak tree pretty much throughout the day and had been easily found by many. But when I visited the afternoon of July 14 I neither heard nor saw it, and to my knowledge there has been no successful reports of it since then other than your. I’m curious to know whether it went silent or left or what.

    Thanks.

    Suan
